ROM

Students from grade 4 to 8 went on an exciting field trip to the Royal Ontario Museum on Tuesday November 20th. The grade 4s went back in time to the Medieval era. Through the hands on exploration of medieval artifacts they learned about life in that time. The grade 5/6s learned about the solar system. They were able to explore the planets and the night sky in a planetarium. The grade 7s studied the role of the artist in the depiction of Canadian history. They investigated artifacts from the 17th and 18th century. All grades were able to explore the exhibits in the afternoon. They looked at gems and minerals, biodiversity, birds in flight, Roman and Greek history, and dinosaurs. The day was filled with fun filled discoveries!
