GAA Running Shoes Drive

Soles to Souls
As we prepare to end another great athletic year at GAA, we are asking our GAA students and families to please help us make a difference in the lives of many children and families around the world. We are collecting any used and unwanted running shoes you may have. By donating them in our school’s drop box, they will be distributed to orphanages, villages, homeless shelters and inner city hospitals in many countries around the world, including Nepal, by the organisation Soles4Souls. These shoes will:
1. help promote health and fitness in children and families who do not own any footwear
2. allow children access to schools
3. keep discarded running shoes out of landfills
Running shoes in any sizes (children and adult), and in any condition will be accepted. Please see link/poster below for more details:
Thank you in advance for your donation and support,
Natalie Nardone and all Running Club members
