During our field trip to the Butterfly Conservatory in Niagara Falls, Kindergarten students had the amazing opportunity to experience a beautiful rainforest setting containing over 2,000 colourful tropical butterflies floating freely among lush, exotic blossoms and greenery. Students were thrilled when butterflies landed on two of the students and a lucky parent.
Students also had the chance to explore Swamp Creatures featuring fascinating animals from the world’s wetlands. They enjoyed hands-on learning, fun and educational interpretation as well as live demonstrations. They particularly enjoyed the Anaconda snake wrapping itself around their arms! YIKES!
